​​Rosehill Veterinary Clinic in Tomball,  Texas,  is a full service animal hospital. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your companion animal. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy animals; early detection and treatment of disease as your companion animal ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.
 
Our veterinarians and veterinary staff 
understand the special role your pet or horse plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your companion animal's health care. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our entire healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual animal owner. We've been helping happy clients from the Tomball, Magnolia, Waller and Cypress Texas areas since 1989.

Dr. Keith Saathoff
​

Dr. Saathoff grew up on a farm and ranch in Hondo, Texas, and pursued his dream of becoming a veterinarian at Texas A&M University.  He graduated from the veterinary program in 1985 and came to the Houston area to begin his career. He came to Rosehill Veterinary Clinic in 1992 to partner with Dr. Earl Dancer and purchased the clinic a few years later to put down "roots" in Tomball.  He has enjoyed establishing relationships with clients and patients that have spanned many years and considers it a privilege to be considered a part of so many families.  He is married to Cheryl, a nurse manager for Methodist Hospital, and is a Dad/Stepdad to four adult children.  Dr. Saathoff is a fifteen year survivor of a stage IV lymphoma diagnosis and will share his story of hope with anyone facing the challenges of a cancer diagnosis.  He enjoys singing. He loves being a veterinarian and appreciates the challenges of a career that is constantly improving in knowledge and capabilities.  He welcomes you and your pets to be a part of the Rosehill Veterinary Clinic family.

Dr. Ashley Martindale

Dr. Martindale joined Rosehill Veterinary Clinic in 2007 after graduating from Mississippi State University.  Prior to veterinary school she worked in research on the Human Genome Sequencing Project where she helped to automate the process of genetic sequencing.  Her interests in practice on small animals include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and critical care.  Her large animal interests include preventative care and reproduction.  She and her husband reside on a small farm in Hockley.  Some of her outside interests include breeding horses, hunter/jumpers and fishing.  Overall she is a bit bird crazy and enjoys the area for all its bird sanctuaries. Her family includes a terrier mix named Arlo James, 2 dobermans named Sig and Sonora and a cat named Marquez as well as 4 horses.

Dr. Hunter Bass

Dr. Bass grew up in Nederland, Texas, and graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008.  He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the Harris County Veterinary Medical Association.  Dr. Bass lives in Tomball with his wife, three children and a standard poodle named Beau.  He takes every opportunity he can to go hunting and fishing with family.  Dr. Bass enjoys the variety of medical and surgical cases seen in general practice

Yatzi joined the Rosehill Veterinary Clinic team in 2014 seeking a career working with people and animals after doing volunteer work with Abandoned Animal Rescue. She grew up in the Cypress, Texas area and has a menagerie of pets including many dogs, cats, goats, pigs  and chickens. She has a particular fondness for pitbulls after working with many that were abandoned at shelters. Yatzi is bilingual in Spanish and helps translate when the need arises. She and her husband have one son that they welcomed in 2020.

Andy joined our staff in 2018 when she moved from California to Texas! She is currently completing the Distance Learning Program in Veterinary Technology from The San Juan College and Rosehill Veterinary Clinic serves as her off-campus clinical instruction site. Andy came to us with her two dogs, Q.T. and Remington and has since adopted a sweet Pitbull named Maximus. She loves taking her dogs along to exercise at local dog parks.

Anyssa joined the practice in the Spring of 2019.  She has a Biomedical Science degree from Tarleton State and has done volunteer work for the Houston SPCA.  She has aspirations to become a veterinarian and recently submitted her application to be admitted into a veterinary curriculum.  Anyssa shares her home with three beloved dogs, Charlie, Luna and Marley.

Lexi joined Rosehill Veterinary Clinic in 2018 as a technician with 3 years of experience. She was transitioned to customer service at our front desk when she displayed quick computer skills combined with her sweet disposition. Lexi and her husband have brought much joy to many families through their successful corgi breeding business called LeMetri's. They have many pets of their own including Corgis and Caucasian Shepherds and both love to travel when not busy taking care of their own furry family.

Holly joined Rosehill Veterinary Clinic as a veterinary technician in 2018 after​ working at a veterinary facility in Katy as a technician for 17 years. She and her husband have 2 cats and 1 dog as pets and a flock of pet chickens to provide fresh  eggs. She likes to work on and restore classic cars with her Dad in her spare time.

Anna is a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) with a degree from Lonestar College. She came to Rosehill Veterinary Clinic in 2018 when the veterinarian she had been working with for over ten years sold his practice. She is our resident cat lover and has many of her own plus four dogs. She also enjoys baking and has entered numerous county baking contests. We all enjoy the fruits of her baking labors and willingly taste-test new recipes!

Krysta came to Rosehill Vet Clinic in 2019 from Lewisville, Texas, where she was working for a multi-doctor specialty practice as their inventory and accounting manager. She also has experience in equine practice as a physical therapy technician as well as client services and inventory. We were fortunate that she decided to move back to our area to live on her family ranch and to be near her family. Her pets include 2 horses, a donkey, 2 dogs, 2 house cats and a couple of barn cats. She will greet you at our front desk with a cheery voice and a smile!

Rosie first started working in veterinary medicine with Dr. Saathoff in 1989 at Cypress Veterinary Hospital. She rejoined him from 1995 to 1997 at Rosehill Veterinary Clinic until life took her in another direction. Her love of animals brought her back again in 2019 and she plans to stay for good this time! When she isn't working with animals, she enjoys cooking and living life to the fullest.

Maggie is an Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) that grew up in Connecticut, graduated from Washington College in Maryland and moved to Texas in 2006. She decided to follow her passion into a career in veterinary medicine and completed the program in Veterinary Technology through Cedar Valley College in 2013. She joined Rosehill Veterinary Clinic in 2015 as a licensed technician. She is a Texan by choice and has 2 cats and a tortoise as pets of her own. She volunteers at Mercer Botanic Gardens when taking a break from animals and enjoys water aerobics with her Mom.

 Michelle came to Rosehill Veterinary Clinic in 1998 and worked the front desk for over 20 years prior to becoming the practice manager.  She was first introduced to the practice by her husband who started working for Dr.'s Dancer and Saathoff while he was in high school!  Michelle enjoys the challenges of working with the staff, doctors and clients of Rosehill Vet.  She and her husband and son enjoy country living in Tomball and have accumulated a wide variety of pets including dogs, cats, chickens, cattle and their adorable paint donkey, Fiona!
